音樂，對許多視障朋友而言，不僅是一門藝術，更是一條通往自信與自立的道路。雖然他們無法以雙眼閱讀五線譜，卻能透過點字樂譜與聲音引導，憑藉敏銳的聽覺走進音樂的世界。

    就讀康橋秀岡國際學校12年級的曾翊昕同學，起初以志工身分走進本基金會服務，在這段過程中，她深深感受到音樂帶來的力量，也激發了她推廣無障礙音樂教育的熱忱。於是，她與同學黃姿樺、劉語晨在校內成立了『音樂無界 Music Without Barriers』社團，並與基金會合作，號召更多同學一起支持視障朋友的音樂夢想。          

    在社團成立的一年來，翊昕、姿樺和語晨將她們在基金會所學到的技能傳授給社團成員，例如：如何將五線譜轉譯為音檔，讓視障朋友能透過聆聽來學習音樂。從最初的三位創辦人開始，團隊逐步成長，如今已有二十位社員一同投入「音樂無界」的行列。翊昕更結合自己所屬的搖滾樂團，舉辦慈善義演並將收入全數捐出，以支持基金會推動視障者音樂教育，讓更多有志學習音樂的視障朋友獲得專業指導與資源。

    為了讓社團成員更直觀地感受自己的付出與影響，團員們也前往基金會觀摩鋼琴課程。當他們看到視障學員因為自己完成的樂譜而能專注練習、努力挑戰並突破自我，每個人都深受感動，希望能夠繼續擴大自己的影響力。

    基金會非常感謝曾翊昕、黃姿樺和劉語晨同學，以及『音樂無界 Music Without Barriers』社團對於視障者音樂教育的熱情付出。我們期盼這份對於視障者音樂教育的熱情付出能影響更多校園學生，並從校園延伸至社會，照亮更多視障朋友的音樂夢想。因為我們相信，音樂的力量不只是旋律與節奏，更是連結人心、突破限制的橋梁！

For many visually impaired friends, music is more than just an art form; it’s a pathway to confidence and independence. Although they cannot read sheet music with their eyes, they find their way into the world of music through braille scores, guided instruction, and their keen sense of hearing.

Yi-Hsin Tseng, a senior at Kang Chiao International School Xiugang Campus, first came to the foundation as a volunteer. Through that experience, she witnessed the transformative power of music and was inspired to advocate for accessible music education. Together with her classmates, Tzu-Hua Huang and Yu-Chen Liu, she founded the student club Music Without Barriers and partnered with the foundation to rally more students to support the musical dreams of visually impaired students.

Over the past year, Yi-Hsin, Tzu-Hua, and Yu-Chen have taught what they learned at the foundation to their club members. For example, how to transcribe sheet music into audio files so that visually impaired learners can study music by listening. What began with just three founders has since grown into a group of twenty dedicated members. Yi-Hsin also brought in her rock band to organize a charity concert, donating all proceeds to the foundation to help expand access to professional training and resources for aspiring visually impaired musicians.

To help members feel the impact of their work firsthand, the club visited the foundation to observe modern piano lessons. Watching students use the audio scores they had prepared, practicing intently, pushing their limits, and breaking through challenges, was deeply moving. It strengthened everyone’s resolve to keep growing their efforts and extending their reach.

The foundation is truly grateful to Yi-Hsin, Tzu-Hua, Yu-Chen, and the Music Without Barriers club for their passion and dedication to music education for the visually impaired. We hope their commitment will inspire more students, spreading from schools into the wider community, to shine a light on the musical dreams of those who cannot see. We believe that the power of music lies not only in melodies, but is also a bridge that connects hearts and breaks down any form of barriers.
